Joanna is originally from the North East of England, an actress with a big smile and big personality.

Experienced in comedy and comedy character work, Joanna has a wide range of skills. Her ability to bring characters to life using dialects/accents and voices, and to find the core of each character, whether in script or improvisation, are just some of her strengths.

Joanna first started out dancing in the chorus for Duggie Chapman's production of 'Jack & The Beanstalk' (Billingham Forum) and has since gone on to undertake a variety of roles in the industry including being the face of East Coast Fibreglass for their series of web based commercials.

Joanna more recently appeared as 'Rose Truman' in Mark Brailsford's 'Hanover The Musical!' for two years running at Brighton Fringe festival, a role which garnered Joanna critical praise.

Joanna then moved further into comedy as part of an ensemble cast 'The Treason Show', a political, satire revue, also directed by Brailsford.

This talented young actress has been lucky enough to play leading roles in pantomimes all over the country for the past five years and is also an accomplished singer in all genres, trained by Elizabeth Buckley (B.Ed (Hons) I.T.C.I, A.T.C.I

"The stand-out undoubtedly being Joanna Fisher's hilariously bathetic rendition of 'little boxes'" - Broadway Baby - Hanover the Musical! - Brighton Fringe 2013
"There are great performances all round, but the real standouts for me were the two female performers, Hannah Summers and Joanna Fisher. Fisher was lovely as the smitten barmaid." - Fringe Guru - Hanover the Musical! - Brighton Fringe 2012
"Female rock and roll duo The Lipsticks were to prove a retro musical treat. Joanna and Sophia are apparently both performers in their own rights, and that vocal pedigree certainly shows through" - The Stage - The Lipsticks Rock 'n' Roll Revue Showcase 2013
